  • Clinical Trials With Violations Often Make No Mention Of Issues In Final Report.

    Reuters reports on a new analysis from New York University published in JAMA Internal Medicine that found US health regulators often fail to mention serious problems with clinical research data collection in final reports. Between 1998 and 2013, they identified 57 clinical trials that received an “official action indicated” violation - the most serious type of violation for trials - for reasons including poor recordkeeping, false information and poor patient safety.

    The FDA has created a searchable area on their site that lists all official FDA Guidance Documents and other regulatory guidance. You can search for documents using key words, and/or narrow or filter your results by product, date issued, FDA organizational unit, type of document, subject, draft or final status, and comment period.
